Dog Training in West Berkshire

We’ve recently started puppy foundations with our 19-week-old Belgian Malinois at Drive State K9, and we’re extremely impressed with the experience so far. Ashley has a fantastic amount of knowledge, particularly when it comes to working and high-drive breeds such as Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds. From our very first session, he helped us understand our puppy better and, more importantly, taught us how to communicate with her in a much clearer and more effective way. The difference even after one session has been noticeable. The training is practical, easy to understand and tailored to the individual dog, rather than just giving you a generic puppy-training routine. We were also really impressed with the follow-up email after the session, which was extremely well presented and covered what we worked on, what our puppy learned, what we need to continue working on at home, and our homework going forward. His prices are also very reasonable considering the level of knowledge and support you receive. We have big plans for our Malinois and are looking towards getting involved in competitions as she progresses, so having someone with this level of experience and understanding of high-drive working dogs is exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be continuing with Drive State K9 throughout her training journey and will be using Ashley as she progresses towards competition and beyond. Would highly recommend to anyone with a Belgian Malinois, GSD or another high-drive/working breed who wants to build a strong relationship and proper foundations with their dog.
